I’m a graduate of the University of Mary Washington with a double major in History and English. I enjoy recreating historical clothing, learning Italian, and rereading the novels of Jane Austen. I’m a capable seamstress and an avid dancer. My work experience includes employment at Mount Vernon, Historic London Town and Gardens, the Historic Ships in Baltimore, The Papers of James Monroe, and the Mary Washington House. I have also completed a number of internships including historical interpretation at Mount Vernon, textile conservation at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, online exhibit creation for the Papers of James Monroe, and a collections internship with the National Park Service. Going forward, I hope to continue my museum work and expand my knowledge of public programming for history museum.
